Thank You

I have been immensely touched by all the lovely comments, calls and emails I have received in response to my previous post. It has been such a comfort knowing that there are people out there thinking about me. It's wonderful how crafting brings people together and gives us all something in common. Maybe if the coming General Election doesn't improve things, we should start a new party - the Crafty Party! I'm sure we'd soon put everything to rights!

I still have a few things to do following my dad's passing, but I hope to be back to blogging again very soon. Life goes on, and there are cards I need to make...

Anyway, just wanted to say how very much I appreciate all your support. To everyone who took the time to get in touch, thank you. This card is for you.

Hello Lynn. So nice to hear from you. I hope you are ok . I agree with you regarding crafters - the world would be a much nicer place with us at the helm. It was my birthday last week and i have been overwhelemed with the good wishes, cards and even gifts i was sent from aldies i have never met and havenn't known very long ( in the blogging sense)
Crafters are a wonderful group of people - helpful and kind. I am proud to be a memeber of the Craft Party!
Take care and i look forward to seeing your future creations.
Thinking of you
Lisa ;)

Good Morning Lynne

A beautiful and touching sentiment to us all.

I confess I have only just seen your previous post, I think it went up whilst I was otherise occupied with my own family 'events'.

It was interesting to read, your Dad was the same age as my own, who you know I lost last year. My Mum was also a Land Girl mostly here in Cambridgeshire and that's how she met Dad who as a farmer was in a reserved occupation.

I am so looking forward to our get together in June, all I need to do now it pur my thinking cap on and decide what we will be getting up to.

It's a beautiful card and a lovely sentiment. I am thinking of you and It was good to hear your voice the other day. I hope things are coming together for you now. With the craft party on my voting slip there would be no doubt at all where my vote would go! Would the manifesto suggest 3 day weekends and larger wage packets, so we could buy more stash and have time to use it?!!!
