Crafts shops are a bit thin on the ground up here in Dumfriesshire. One of the few things I miss about Nottingham is that there are several good shops within reasonable travelling distance of where I used to live. However, I found the beautiful floral button (on the card above) in a lovely shop called Fun 2 Do in Carlisle. They have the most gorgeous selection of buttons, ribbons, fabrics and general crafty bits and pieces, and I've just found out they have a website and do mail order! Driving back out of Carlisle I also noticed that there is a brand new Hobbycraft store being built there, due to open very soon! Oases in the craft desert! I'm happy now!

There's still plenty of time to enter the Stampalot Challenge, and the flight theme doesn't just mean butterflies! Interpret it however you like. There's lots of lovely inspiration from my talented teamies on the Challenge Blog, so do flutter over and take a look!

Gorgeous cards, Lynne, even more beautiful in real life! Glad you are finding places to craft shop up there, even if they are still building them!!!
Love those beautiful butterflies Lynne. You really have been busy. I think my favourite is the one with the pink and black flowers.
Blessings
Maxine

All beautiful cards and loving that button, x
Oh my Lynne, these are stunning! Those butterflies are simply gorgeous and I love them all but I think my favourite has to be the grasses one. As soon as I saw your first card I was avidly reading to find out about the beautiful button so must have a look at that website. The sentiments you've used are also lovely and fit the theme perfectly.
Glad you're finding some nice shops to satisfy your crafty cravings, lol!

Beautiful butterfly cards indeed, Jx
Just catching up with all that you've been up to Lynne and what a gorgeous array of butterflies!! They are all stunning. I see you have that gorgeous poppy memory box die, that's on my Christmas list, it's difficult to track down though.
It sounds like you are sniffing out those craft shops now!! I don't think we realise how lucky we are to have so many on our doorstep!! Not good for the bank balance though.
Hope you are both keeping well.
Hugs Lisax
