Who lives in a house like this?

My grandsons came to visit today and were surprised to find a mysterious little door in the skirting board!

It hadn't been there when they were here last. Where did it lead to? Whose front door could it be?

Who lives in a house like this? Why, a House Mouse of course!

I wanted to make something different from a card for a change. I saw this idea years ago, unfortunately can't remember where now. I've been meaning to make one ever since, and finally got round to it. The boys loved it!

  1. What a super idea Lynn and no wonder your Grandson's loved it. So do I! I have a soft spot for mice anyway and this looks really cute. I might have to have a go at this for my Grandaughters.

PS I'm hoping that Mr Blogger has finally sorted himself out and allows me to send this comment through. It'll be the first time in ages if it does.

  4. Gorgeous Idea! I am not surprised they loved it! I do too! I might have to copy that idea as a stimulus for some writing at school!

  5. What a brilliant idea, Lynne. No wonder the boys loved it. DD would have expected a fairy to be inside. We always look for fairy doors in trees when we're out!!!
